Upcoming Special Broadcasts

The highly anticipated TV special of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” will be aired in two parts on December 23rd at 1:29 AM on TBS. This special, which was first screened in theaters in September, will be followed by a marathon broadcast on BS11 on January 1, 2025, at 4 PM.

New Year’s Eve Movie Broadcast

• On December 31, at 6:30 PM, BS11 will air the movie “The Quintessential Quintuplets”.
• On January 1, at 3 PM, the TV special will also be broadcasted.

Based on the popular manga by Negi Haruba, the series follows Fuutarou Uesugi, a student living in poverty who becomes the tutor for a group of five beautiful quintuplets. His mission is to help them graduate, as they are on the verge of failing. The first season of the anime aired in 2019, followed by the second season in 2021. The movie, which covers the episodes leading to the conclusion of the original story, was released in 2022.

In 2023, a new film adaptation was released, depicting summer vacation episodes that were not covered in the anime series. This latest installment, titled “The Quintessential Quintuplets: The Movie”, showcases Fuutarou and the quintuplets on their honeymoon in Hawaii, under the complete supervision and original concept by the author, Negi Haruba.
