ONE PIECE Anime Celebrates 25 Years with Special Edition

The beloved TV anime “ONE PIECE” is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in October 2024. On October 13, 2024, during the “ONE PIECE NEWS” broadcast on the official YouTube channel, exciting new developments regarding the anime were announced.

Special Edited Version of Fish-Man Island Arc

Starting from October 27, 2024, a special edited version of the “Fish-Man Island Arc” will be aired. This re-edited version will enhance the quality of the visuals significantly and will feature Dolby Atmos sound. The new opening theme song will be “We Go!” performed by the Straw Hat Pirates, while the ending theme will be “Sailing” by BE:FIRST.

Egghead Arc Hiatus and Future Plans

The ongoing “Egghead Arc,” which began airing in January 2024, will enter a hiatus from October 20, 2024, to March 30, 2025. During this time, the production team will work on improving the anime’s quality. The new regular broadcast schedule will resume in April 2025, with further details to be announced at the “Jump Festa 2025” event on December 22, 2024.
