About the Series
“Nigejou no Wakakimi” is a historical manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Yuusei Matsui. The story follows Hojo Tokiyuki, the rightful heir of the Kamakura shogunate, who loses everything due to a rebellion. He escapes to Suwa, where he meets trustworthy allies and begins to gather strength to reclaim Kamakura. The anime adaptation, produced by CloverWorks, began airing in July 2024, and a second season has already been confirmed.
