Hello everyone! Recently, the highly successful Hatsune Miku “Magical Mirai 2024”eventcame to a close! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us on social media! Today, we bring you an after report of the event that took place from August 17 (Friday) to 18 (Saturday) at Fukuoka (Fukuoka Sun Palace and Fukuoka International Conference Center), from August 30 (Friday) to September 1 (Sunday) at Tokyo (Makuhari Messe), and from October 12 (Saturday) to 14 (Monday, holiday) at Osaka (Intex Osaka).

Event Theme: Fan Fun Trip

This year’s event theme was “Fan Fun Trip,” perfectly suited for a year filled with travel as we hopped between three venues, including the first-ever Fukuoka location. The exhibition featured a life-sized statue of Miku designed and illustrated by the artist Tama, welcoming everyone as they entered the venue.

Exhibition Highlights

  • Photo spots inspired by train windows, titled “Piapro Characters’ Hometown Train”
  • Traditional tourist attractions like “Face-in-the-Hole Boards”
  • Memory walls where attendees could write and display their memories of past Magical Mirai events
  • Anniversary displays reflecting on past Magical Mirai and Piapro Characters anniversaries

In Fukuoka, live painting was conducted by artists Zashikiwarashi, Kevin Bayashi in Tokyo, and Mashiro Misaki in Osaka, receiving great applause upon completion. The Fukuoka venue also featured life-sized statues of six Piapro Characters for the first time, attracting many photo opportunities.

Engaging Activities

Various exhibitions and stages were held, including a collaboration with Nishitetsu Bus featuring the character Baba Busou-kun. In Osaka, audience participation was encouraged during the stage events. Some of the exhibition stage highlights can be viewed onPiapro TV.

Interactive Map

We also introduced a “Where Are You From Map” where attendees could place stickers to indicate their origins, making it easy to see where most visitors came from across the three venues.
