Contest Overview

We invite you to create web applications that creatively animate lyrics and visuals in sync with the winning songs from the “Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2025 Music Contest.” This is a unique opportunity to blend technology with art and music, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Contest Details

• Submission Period:April 10, 2025 (Thursday) to July 8, 2025 (Tuesday) at noon
• Target Songs:Winning songs from the “Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2025 Music Contest” (6 songs total). You can create animations for all songs or focus on just one; either option is acceptable.

The Grand Prize winner will be announced along with the following:

About TextAlive App API

The TextAlive App API is a JavaScript library that allows developers to create web applications (lyric apps) that animate lyrics in sync with the music. You can use it in a typical web development environment and combine it with libraries like three.js, PixiJS, or p5.js for more creative visual expressions. TextAlive and the TextAlive App API are developed and publicly released by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
