Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting, this contest is an opportunity to express your creativity and passion for Miku. Read on to discover the details of this thrilling event!

Contest Overview

This time, we are inviting submissions based on three distinct themes, each featuring different characters. The grand prize winner will not only have their artwork transformed into a scale figure but will also receive a cash prize of 2 million yen!

Submission Themes

  • Collaboration A:Theme 4 – “Sakura Miku (Official Costume)” Illustration
  • Collaboration B:Theme 5 – “China Style” KAITO Illustration
  • Collaboration C:Theme 6 – “Rainwear” Hatsune Miku Illustration

Submission Details

For all collaborations (A, B, and C), please adhere to the following submission guidelines:

  • Artwork Size: Vertical 420mm x Horizontal 297mm (A3 vertical size)
  • File Format: jpg, png
  • Color Mode: RGB
  • Resolution: 350dpi or higher
  • License Conditions: Please submit without setting any license (mandatory)

Important Notes

When creating your artwork, please ensure:

  • Draw from a frontal perspective without any depth or perspective effects.
  • Backgrounds are optional (only the character will be turned into a figure).
  • Both digital and analog drawings are accepted.
  • Only one character can be depicted per artwork.
  • Avoid including copyrighted elements (buildings, product names, etc.) in your illustrations.
  • Submissions featuring characters other than the specified ones will be disqualified.

Exhibition and Data Submission

Selected works may be displayed at various events hosted by Good Smile Company. Please note:

  • We may enlarge the artwork to A3 size or larger for display purposes.
  • Submissions using photographic materials will not be accepted.
  • Winners may be asked to submit the original data in the format of “5787px x 4093px (A3 equivalent), 350 dpi CMYK” as a PSD file.
  • If you cannot provide the original data, your award may be revoked.

Submission Period

The submission period for all three categories is fromDecember 13, 2024 (Friday) 10:00 AM to February 24, 2025 (Friday) 5:00 PM.
