Tournament Overview

On March 24 and 25, the “Red Bull LEGENDUS STREET FIGHTER 6 最強道場決定戦” was held, organized by streamer SHAKA. The event saw the Takamatsu Ballet School triumph over the Guile Village, claiming the championship title.

This tournament featured a unique format where four teams competed in a dojo-style battle: Takamatsu Ballet School, Guile Village, Haitani Clan, and Mago Super Clan. Over two days, these teams engaged in intense matches to determine the ultimate champion.

  • Day 1:Preliminary rounds were held among the four teams.
  • Day 2:The finals and a third-place match were scheduled, but due to negotiations, the third-place match was also treated as a final.

In the alternate final, Mago Super Clan defeated Haitani Clan, leading to a humorous situation where Haitani Clan was dubbed the “reverse champion” by the commentators.

Final Showdown

The true final saw Takamatsu Ballet School face off against Guile Village, led by the well-known pro gamers Takamatsu and Higuchi. The match was highly anticipated, showcasing the skills of both teams.

As the match progressed, Takamatsu Ballet School, often humorously questioned as a boxing gym, took the lead. The middleweight competitor, Fransisco, and the captain, Higuchi, showcased their prowess, with Higuchi demonstrating overwhelming strength.

Fransisco managed to defeat both the vice-captain Robin and Higuchi, leading to a climactic showdown. Takamatsu, who had previously suffered a defeat in another tournament, regained his confidence and, with the support of his team, ultimately defeated Higuchi, securing the championship for his dojo.

At the conclusion of the event, SHAKA announced a new tournament titled “Red Bull LEGENDUS STREET FIGHTER 6 頂” scheduled for June 28-29, 2025, at the Tokyo Gymnasium.
