TheHATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2024 EUROPEtour kicked off in London at the OVO Arena Wembley, where over 8,000 attendees gathered, making it the largest audience in MIKU EXPO history!
On a chilly morning at 10 AM, fans eagerly lined up for merchandise, showcasing their excitement for the event. When the outdoor merchandise booth opened, cheers erupted as the beautifully arranged goods were revealed. Fans in cosplay displayed outfits inspired by the main visuals ofMagical Mirai 2023,Snow Miku 2024, and various iconic songs!
Among the fans were locals from Europe and visitors from Japan, all united by their love for Miku. It was heartwarming to witness the passion and energy of fans traveling from Japan to Europe and vice versa. As the venue opened, fans flooded in, creating an electrifying atmosphere as they called out the names of their favorite characters, reaching a fever pitch with chants ofMiku! Miku! Miku!

Brussels Performance on October 28
After the excitement in London, we arrived in Brussels! On the day off between performances, I took some time to explore around the Grand Place with ‘u’ Miku, a special white Miku doll with a ‘u’ face created for a sub-event in 2018. The historical scenery made for some great photo opportunities!
The Brussels performance took place at the ING Arena, where fans were already queuing in the chilly morning, just like in London. One of the highlights was theLet’s Paintevent, where fans could color a blank 3D model and design their own MYMIKU. It was exciting to see unique designs, including a Miku inspired by the Belgian flag!
Inside the venue, there was even a booth selling waffles! I couldn’t help but wonder if ‘u’ Miku would like to join me for a snack… But soon it was time for the show to begin. Watching the fans enjoy the performance was heartwarming, especially families who attended together, with siblings watching the stage and children dancing freely to Miku’s music.
Paris Performance on October 29
Next, we arrived in Paris! The venue was the historic Zénith Paris – La Villette, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, just like in the 2020 Europe tour. The neon lights and retro atmosphere made it a stylish venue.
Even before the show started, the crowd was already buzzing with excitement, calling out for their favorite characters. The energy was palpable as the audience stomped their feet in unison, creating a thunderous sound that echoed throughout the venue. It was fascinating to witness the unique live culture of each region as the tour progressed.
As the performance kicked off, the energy soared, and despite the chilly season, the venue was filled with warmth and excitement. The cheers from the audience were incredibly loud, and it was clear that everyone was having a fantastic time!
While I have so much more to share, this concludes the first part of our recap. ‘u’ Miku is enjoying the photos, and I hope you’ve noticed the highlights so far. Stay tuned for the second part!
