About Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisenis a dark fantasy manga created by Gege Akutami, which concluded its serialization in the 44th issue ofWeekly Shonen Jumpin September 2024, after a successful run of six and a half years. The story begins when a powerful cursed object is unsealed, leading high school student Yuji Itadori into a world filled with curses and battles. The manga has a total of 28 volumes, including the prequelJujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical School.

Anime Adaptation and Success

The anime adaptation premiered in October 2020 and ran until March 2021, followed by the release of the prequel filmJujutsu Kaisen 0in December 2021, which grossed an impressive 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
