The 32nd installment of the “Crayon Shin-chan” movie series, titled “Crayon Shin-chan: Super Gorgeous! The Scorching Kasukabe Dancers,” is set to be released in the summer of 2025. This time, the beloved characters will embark on an adventure in India, marking the first time the series has chosen this vibrant country as its backdrop. Along with the announcement, a super teaser visual and a special promotional video have been revealed.

The film will be directed by Masakazu Hashimoto, who has previously directed several “Crayon Shin-chan” films, including “Crayon Shin-chan: Hurricane Wedding Trip – Lost Hiroshi” and “Crayon Shin-chan: Mononoke Ninja Chinpuden.” The screenplay will be written by Kimiko Ueno, who has collaborated with Hashimoto on many previous projects.

Director Masakazu Hashimoto added, “The Nohara family, who previously moved to Mexico and went on a honeymoon in Australia, will finally travel to India! This time, the Kasukabe Defense Force will join them on their adventure. What kind of adventures await them in this foreign land? To prepare for this film, I went on a location scouting trip to India with the script and art staff, where I experienced super spicy curry and the scorching sun. Expect a film filled with singing, dancing, laughter, tears, food, confusion, and ups and downs. It will be a new experience, yet still quintessentially Crayon Shin-chan!”
