Exciting Announcement for “Night of the Living Cat”

The series will be directed by Takashi Miike, known for his work on live-action films such as “Crows Zero” and “The Lesson of Evil.” Along with this announcement, a teaser PV and the second teaser visual have been released, generating excitement among fans.

About the Series

Based on the manga serialized in “Monthly Comic Garden” and “MAGCOMI,” the story is set in a world where a “Nyan-demic” has occurred, transforming humans who touch cats into cats themselves. The narrative follows humanity’s struggle to resist the temptation of touching cats while trying to survive in a world dominated by felines.

The official X account for the series is currently seeking cat voices to participate in the climax scenes of the anime. A recruitment announcement video featuring Takashi Miike has been shared, inviting fans to join in the fun.
